Barbara Jean's

Excellent food and great service for a reasonable price. We get a craving for Barbara Jean's about once a week, wish we lived closer to it! My brother also is a marine and his meal was comped by the owner, a very kind gesture!

What a great Gem of a place to find on the beaten path. Not only does this place have my Mom's Name but the waiter's name was Jimmie! My Dad's name! However the food was really good! I had grilled shrimp with crab cakes that had no breading in it and my husband had blacken catfish and crab cakes! Both were really yummy with plenty of flavor! I would forsure recommend this place!!!

The deck was gorgeous. Nice tables and right on the river. Food was decent. Not absolutely the best I've ever had but good. The bread basket was probably my favorite!
